President Introduction
Tsuyoshi Ohyama
- ■ Representative Director of Akebono Industry Co., Ltd.
- ■ Representative Director of Akebono Mold LLC
As things overflow and information and technology change at a dizzying pace, the Akebono Group's motto has been "ingenuity" ever since its foundation, and every day, the entire company works together as one to explore what we can offer the plastic household goods market.
We are working diligently to become a proposal-type manufacturer, always capable of delivering "slightly novel products with guaranteed quality" that are rooted in customer needs.
Chairman Introduction
Jiro Ohyama- ■ Chairman of Akebono Industry Co., Ltd.
- ■ Chairman of Akebono Mold LLC
- ■ Representative of Jiro Ohyama Collection Museum
There are many long-selling products born out of his own little ideas, such as the mega-hit product "Magic Rice Scoop that rice does not stick to," which was inspired by the rice scoop of a sushi restaurant, as well as the "non-slip Magic Tray," "freezer Ice Bowl," "Bread Slicer Case that can be cut slices of the same thickness" and "universal cooker Kitchen Pack".
Sustained on by adversity in his childhood, he used his experience in the harshness and warmth of Tsubame local industry, and honed his skills in the "manufacturing and creativity" of local industry.
In his spare time, he has taken a keen interest in a wide range of sports, such as baseball, skiing, bowling and golf. In addition, his collection of paintings, which he started out of a desire to cultivate his sensibility through painting and be of use in manufacturing, has led to the "Jiro Ohyama Collection Museum, attached to Rikuchoukan," which is well known to the local community.
For 25 years as a member of the city council, he has worked in various public offices, including the chairmanship, promoting the community, and even after his retirement, he has devoted himself to the local community, in an effort to give back to the town that raised him. His favorite sayings are "Trials are also a blessing" and "Learn from everything".
